Now showing the date in the 50th second for 5 seconds if in DCF77 mode. We have changed the software version to V6.2 so that US customers now can set the clock to 12/24hr mode and choose the US or European Date standard format. (MM:DD:YY / DD:MM:YY).
-
Features
- Universal design with switchmode power supply, can drive any tubes
- different tube modes, (all included in one software) 2 tubes, 4 tubes,
(dual anode), 6 tubes or 2 alphanumeric tubes
- Power supplied from a low voltage plug in adapter (9 – 12V AC)
- tube saving routine
- switch off the tubes during the night to increase their lifetime
- Efficient multiplex design, saves space and enhances tube life
- Dimming mode with optional auto function
- Attractive digit crossfade
- Built in DCF77 decoder for ultimate accuracy
- Showing the date in DCF77 and GPS mode

NEW
We now offer a GPS to DCF 77 converter unit that will make this and all other nixieclocks made by us run on GPS time.
It is also possible to show the temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit instead of the date!!
The unit will be connected to the DCF77 input of the clock pcb and it will work with all our hardware.
The software must be version 5.8 or higher. So no new hardware or new software is needed for the nixie clock!
It will also show temperature if a sensor is connected to GPS to DCF77 converter.
Ask for more details on that unique unit.

The nixie clock is crammed full of features with a PIC microcontroller at its heart. The state of art design is powered from a low voltage adapter and has the ability to drive any nixie tubes including alphanumeric varieties. With its built in decoder there is the ability to add a DCF77 receiver for ultimate accuracy.

Alternatively the clock can be line driven with automatic 50/60Hz detection. For complete flexibility, you can also drive the clock with an external 1Hz generator.
The flexibility of the design is further enhanced, by being built on two separate PCB's. The first PCB holds the electronics while the tubes mount on the second PCB. By using a 'sandwich' style construction you can build the clock into a very small housing. The connectors to connect the 2 pcb in a sandwich connection (male/female) are included.
Two small push buttons allow for setting the time, selecting 12/24 hour mode, date format and controlling the display dimmer.
The Kit
All parts required to build the kit are supplied
but no tubes, no power supply, no mouser pins and no case. You will need standard electronic construction tools including soldering iron, cutters etc.
